Melissa Delgado serves at the Communications & Production Manager at Westar Trade Resources. Melissa has worked in the multi-media industry for the past 12 years and holds a degree in business and multi-media. She began her media career in the publications industry serving as the Art Director of WPC Worldwide Publications. There, Melissa led a team of designers to design, develop, publish and launch a new Dallas magazine, Lucky Trucker.
After relocating to Austin, Texas in 2003, she took on a position with NSIDE Austin Magazine as a marketing and advertising design specialist. Working for the advertising department, she headed up advertising sales; marketing NSIDE Magazine’s ad space to local businesses throughout the Austin area and developing the overall layout and design of the ad space.
In 2005, Melissa, launched her own media business working mainly with pharmaceutical companies nationwide and their subsidiaries to develop their internet presence on the web. Melissa’s area of expertise includes planning, analyzing, and creating visual solutions to communications problems.
