Cindy Thyfault, Founder and CEO of Westar Trade Resources, has provided over 30 years of successful business management consulting for the development, management and funding of bioenergy projects, food and fiber manufacturing, textile production, green building products and residential and industrial construction, both domestically and internationally. Founded in 1994, Westar Trade Resources has assisted our clients to procure over $1.3 billion in financing for over $2 billion in projects from USDA, DOE, DOD, and other government agencies as well as private financing programs.  She has also worked extensively to promote and develop other types of funding, including green bonds.

 She recently had the honor to be named #80 in the world in the peer-selected competition for the “Top 100 People in the Bioeconomy” Awards by the Biofuels Digest in April 2016.

Ms. Rose has also worked for several years to promote business in sustainable technologies, including; building materials, construction, agricultural products, and consumer goods and private financing. She helps to target specific demographics using contemporary media and outreach. Ms. Rose was also a founder of EcoLogic, LLC, a leader in biodegradable plastics, which produces and distributes the biodegradable additive, Eco-One.

Egle B. Thomas, PhD, MBA has over 13 years of experience in biotech organizations, including VP of North America Strategy at Green Biologics Inc., Director of Business Development at the Institute of Advanced Learning and Research, as well as various business and scientific positions at Syngenta. In addition, as a consultant, Egle has been driving strategy, business development, funding and commercialization of diverse technologies in industries including biotechnology, life science, healthcare, renewable chemicals, biofuels, agrochemicals and biopharmaceuticals. Egle B. Thomas earned an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK, as well as a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a B.S. in Biochemistry from North Central College, Illinois.
