Rich Altman - Executive Director Emeritus, CAAFI
Rich Altman is Executive Director of the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative (CAAFI). Rich co-founded CAAFI in 2006 with Airline, Manufacturer, Airport and FAA Sponsors.
The CAAFI coalition targets alternative fuel qualification efforts via ASTM, has created a Fuel Readiness Level systems risk management, "best practice", quantified carbon life cycle benefits for multiple processes and feedstocks and has placed aviation as lead implementer for advanced biofuels among transport sectors. Over 20 U.S. States and multiple global partners are now engaged with CAAFI in the Development and Deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuels. For these efforts CAAFI received Air Transport World Award for Industry Service in 2010 and the Washington Airports Task Force (WATF) 2011 Williams Trophy for its contribution in "enriching the quality of life on earth".

Dr. Susan Pond - Chair, Australian Initiative for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (AISAF)
Dr. Susan Pond AM, MBBS (Hons 1, USyd), MD (UNSW) DSc (UQ), MD honoris causa (UQ), FTSE, is Adjunct Professor at the University of Sydney and was appointed to the Dow Sustainability Program at the United States Study Centre in 2010.
Dr. Pond’s interests include: the transition of the transportation sector to alternative fuels; the market sectors driving demand for advanced biofuels, such as aviation and maritime; and the policy settings to enable development of integrated systems and the multiple product and business opportunities arising from conversion of renewable feedstocks to chemicals and fuels.

Lukas is Head of Political Communications and Public Relations at aireg - Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e.V. Since aireg`s foundation in September 2011 Lukas is fostering the cooperation within the association and beyond.
Aireg pools forces of currently 30 stakeholders along the entire value chain of alternative aviation fuels. As the leading network for alternative aviation fuels in Germany aireg is facilitating R&D, building and providing societal and regulatory support and aiming at the economically and ecologically feasible implementation in the coming years.
